Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bonbon by Laurence Jenkell was auctioned at Phillips in London in February 2020. The price achieved of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 65,193.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Laurence Jenkell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 294,945.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bonbon von Laurence Jenkell kam im Februar 2020 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 65.193,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Laurence Jenkell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 294.945,09).
