The work Wrapping bonbon bleu foncé by Laurence Jenkell was auctioned at Christies in Paris in December 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 11,875.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Laurence Jenkell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 294,945.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Wrapping bonbon bleu foncé von Laurence Jenkell kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 11.875,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Laurence Jenkell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 294.945,09).
