In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir by Laurence Jenkell. The »bidding war« ended at USD 325,000.00 (€ 294,945.09), 63% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Bonbon Aluminum Polimiroir the most expensive artwork by Laurence Jenkell that we have observed at auctions so far.
