Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two studies, for Scissors Jack Series by Larry Zox was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,498.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Zox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quaminis in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,033.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two studies, for Scissors Jack Series von Larry Zox wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.772,00 (€ 2.498,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Zox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quaminis im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.033,90).
