Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Two studies, for Cuban Eights No. II by Larry Zox. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,498.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Zox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quaminis in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,033.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two studies, for Cuban Eights No. II von Larry Zox zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.772,00 (€ 2.498,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Zox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quaminis im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.033,90).
