In June 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Composition, 1922 by Lajos Kassák. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 17,851.00 49% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lajos Kassák - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dinamika, which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 52,920.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition, 1922 von Lajos Kassák zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 17.851,00 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lajos Kassák mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dinamika beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 52.920,00 versteigert wurde.
