Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (This is Not A Mistake) by Korakrit Arunanondchai for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,267.74). This price was achieved in the auction First Open | Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Korakrit Arunanondchai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (History Painting) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 96,100.00 (€ 134,419.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (This is Not A Mistake) von Korakrit Arunanondchai für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.267,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open | Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Korakrit Arunanondchai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (History Painting) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.100,00 (€ 134.419,90).
