Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (History Painting) by Korakrit Arunanondchai was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. The price achieved of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 54,724.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Korakrit Arunanondchai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (History Painting), which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 96,100.00 (€ 134,419.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (History Painting) von Korakrit Arunanondchai kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 54.724,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Korakrit Arunanondchai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (History Painting) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 96.100,00 (€ 134.419,90) versteigert wurde.
