Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Day Sale, which included the work Untitled (History Painting) by Korakrit Arunanondchai. The price achieved of EUR 10,080.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Korakrit Arunanondchai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (History Painting) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 96,100.00 (€ 134,419.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (History Painting) von Korakrit Arunanondchai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.080,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Korakrit Arunanondchai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (History Painting) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.100,00 (€ 134.419,90).
