Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Sailing The Dark Wave Of The Fading Sound Of You by Kon Trubkovich. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,872.34). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kon Trubkovich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Out of the black and into the white, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,276.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sailing The Dark Wave Of The Fading Sound Of You von Kon Trubkovich zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.872,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Kon Trubkovich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Out of the black and into the white beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.276,85) versteigert wurde.
