Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wall Fragment 7 by Kon Trubkovich was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,991.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Kon Trubkovich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Out of the black and into the white in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,276.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wall Fragment 7 von Kon Trubkovich kam im September 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.991,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kon Trubkovich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Out of the black and into the white im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.276,85).
