In November 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Ripe Fruit by Kon Trubkovich. The »bidding war« ended at USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,032.13), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kon Trubkovich; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Out of the black and into the white sold at auction in November 2017 with the realized price of USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,276.85).

Im November 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ripe Fruit von Kon Trubkovich zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.032,13) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kon Trubkovich; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Out of the black and into the white im November 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.276,85).
