Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Decorum by Kim MacConnel was sold in the Saturday@Phillips auction at Phillips in New York in June 2007. The price achieved of USD 2,400.00 (€ 1,775.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kim MacConnel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mit Schlag, which sold at auction in July 2011 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,359.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Decorum von Kim MacConnel wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion Saturday@Phillips bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.400,00 (€ 1.775,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kim MacConnel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mit Schlag beobachtet, die im Juli 2011 für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.359,05) versteigert wurde.
