Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July this year Christies in Paris held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Never Stop Being Thrifty and Industrious by Kim MacConnel. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,116.11), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Kim MacConnel have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,359.05) in July 2011 for the work Mit Schlag.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Never Stop Being Thrifty and Industrious von Kim MacConnel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.116,11) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Kim MacConnel haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.359,05) im Juli 2011 für die Arbeit Mit Schlag beobachtet.
