It changed hands for a price of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,285.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Kelly McLane have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Salt in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 10,200.00 (€ 8,402.67).
