In March 2006 Christies in New York held the auction first open - Post War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Salt by Kelly McLane. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,200.00 (€ 8,402.67), 28% above the upper estimate. With this result, Salt is even the most expensive work of art by Kelly McLane that we have observed at auctions so far.
