Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work American Idle (Awesome Spots) by Kelly McLane for USD 125.00 (€ 110.31). This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kelly McLane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Salt in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 10,200.00 (€ 8,402.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit American Idle (Awesome Spots) von Kelly McLane für USD 125,00 (€ 110,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kelly McLane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Salt im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 8.402,67).
