Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Suprematist Cross (Kashan 36) by Kazimir Malevich was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2012. The price achieved of GBP 687.50 (€ 847.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kazimir Malevich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suprematist Composition in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 85,812,500.00 (€ 73,532,562.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Suprematist Cross (Kashan 36) von Kazimir Malevich kam im Dezember 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 687,50 (€ 847,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kazimir Malevich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suprematist Composition im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 85.812.500,00 (€ 73.532.562,13).
