Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kai Althoff was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2017. The price achieved of GBP 18,125.00 (€ 20,666.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kai Althoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Antonius Eremita in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 682,000.00 (€ 769,085.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kai Althoff kam im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.125,00 (€ 20.666,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kai Althoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Antonius Eremita im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 682.000,00 (€ 769.085,60).
