Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Kai Althoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in October 2020. In the Editions Contemporary: Online Auction auction, the work Untitled, from Dispatch Portfolio #3 sold for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,931.83) - well above the upper estimate of USD 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kai Althoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Antonius Eremita in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 682,000.00 (€ 769,085.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kai Althoff erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions Contemporary: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Untitled, from Dispatch Portfolio #3 für USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.931,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kai Althoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Antonius Eremita im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 682.000,00 (€ 769.085,60).
