In May 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Marion Lambert, which included the work Sans Titre by Kai Althoff. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 56,250.00 61% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kai Althoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Antonius Eremita in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 682,000.00 (€ 769,085.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Marion Lambert durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Kai Althoff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 56.250,00 und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kai Althoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Antonius Eremita im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 682.000,00 (€ 769.085,60).
