Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kai Althoff could be acquired at Grisebach in February 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Online Only 2020/2021 - Contemporary Editions Online Only auction, the work „Paden“. changed hands for EUR 750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kai Althoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Antonius Eremita in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 682,000.00 (€ 769,085.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kai Althoff konnte im Februar 2021 bei Grisebach für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Online Only 2020/2021 - Contemporary Editions Online Only wechselte die Arbeit „Paden“. für EUR 750,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kai Althoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Antonius Eremita im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 682.000,00 (€ 769.085,60).
