In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Do You Want To Make Love With Me by Julio Galán. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,321.43), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Julio Galán have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Silenzio in September last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 206,071.76).

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Do You Want To Make Love With Me von Julio Galán zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 22.321,43) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julio Galán auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Silenzio im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 206.071,76).
