Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Julio Galán was auctioned at Christies in New York in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,707.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julio Galán achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silenzio in September last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 206,071.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Julio Galán kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.670,00 (€ 5.707,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julio Galán erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silenzio im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 206.071,76).
