Four signed in black marker on the reverse and one signed in purple marker on the reverse, all with printed signature, date and title on the reverse, from the edition of 150, produced by The Prospect NY, New York, designed by Judy Chicago.

Auction result misses estimated price range
In October last year a collector was able to acquire the work The Dinner Party (five plates) by Judy Chicago for USD 6,300.00 (€ 6,341.86). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Judy Chicago achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Growing Pains from the series Six Views from the Womantree in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 69,743.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Dinner Party (five plates) von Judy Chicago für USD 6.300,00 (€ 6.341,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Judy Chicago erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Growing Pains from the series Six Views from the Womantree im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 69.743,68).
