Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joseph Raffael could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Haiku Fish II; III; and IV changed hands for USD 2,868.00 (€ 1,738.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Raffael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lily Shadow and Reflection in July 2016 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,101.00).
