Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Disco Terrestre by Jorge Eielson. The price achieved of USD 56,700.00 (€ 46,498.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Jorge Eielson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Quipus 32 D-7 was auctioned for USD 87,500.00 (€ 74,978.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Disco Terrestre von Jorge Eielson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.700,00 (€ 46.498,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jorge Eielson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Quipus 32 D-7 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 74.978,58) versteigert.
