Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jorge Eielson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in December 2020. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Quipus 33V-2 sold for EUR 32,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jorge Eielson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quipus 32 D-7, which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 74,978.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jorge Eielson erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wurde die Arbeit Quipus 33V-2 für EUR 32.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jorge Eielson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quipus 32 D-7 beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 74.978,58) versteigert wurde.
