Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Nodo by Jorge Eielson for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,378.02). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jorge Eielson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Quipus 32 D-7 in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 74,978.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nodo von Jorge Eielson für USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.378,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorge Eielson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Quipus 32 D-7 im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 74.978,58).
