A top price for Jorge Eielson
The work Quipus 32 D-7 by Jorge Eielson was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 87,500.00 (€ 74,978.58). With this result, Quipus 32 D-7 is even the most expensive work of art by Jorge Eielson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Quipus 32 D-7 von Jorge Eielson kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 87.500,00 (€ 74.978,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Quipus 32 D-7 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jorge Eielson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
