The work Wicklow Morning by John Jobson was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2001. It achieved a price of GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,772.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Jobson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape (Wicklow), which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,813.05).

Die Arbeit Wicklow Morning von John Jobson kam im Mai 2001 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.772,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Für andere Arbeiten von John Jobson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape (Wicklow) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.813,05) versteigert wurde.
