Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Cherries by John Jobson was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2002. It changed hands for a price of GBP 763.75 (€ 1,196.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by John Jobson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape (Wicklow) in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,813.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn Cherries von John Jobson kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 763,75 (€ 1.196,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Jobson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape (Wicklow) im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.813,05).
