Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2004 Christies in London held the auction Irish and 20th Century British Art, which included the work Night Drive by John Jobson. The price achieved of GBP 2,270.50 (€ 3,406.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by John Jobson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2006 the work Landscape (Wicklow) was auctioned for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,813.05).

Im Mai 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Irish and 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Night Drive von John Jobson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.270,50 (€ 3.406,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von John Jobson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2006 die Arbeit Landscape (Wicklow) für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.813,05) versteigert.
