A top price for John Jobson - as previously expected
The work Landscape (Wicklow) by John Jobson was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2006. The price achieved of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,813.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape (Wicklow) is the most expensive artwork by John Jobson that we have observed at auctions so far.
