A top price for John Jobson - as previously expected
The work Landscape (Wicklow) by John Jobson was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2006. The price achieved of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,813.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape (Wicklow) is the most expensive artwork by John Jobson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Landscape (Wicklow) von John Jobson kam im Oktober 2006 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.813,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape (Wicklow) das teuerste Kunstwerk von John Jobson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
