Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Kinnahalla Road, Co. Down by John Jobson was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2002. It achieved a price of GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,748.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Jobson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape (Wicklow), which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,813.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Kinnahalla Road, Co. Down von John Jobson kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.116,25 (€ 1.748,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24%. Für andere Arbeiten von John Jobson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape (Wicklow) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.813,05) versteigert wurde.
