Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction Irish Sale Part II, which included the work Barley Field, South Wicklow by John Jobson. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,401.29). Admittedly, works by John Jobson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape (Wicklow) in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,813.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Irish Sale Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barley Field, South Wicklow von John Jobson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 960,00 (€ 1.401,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Jobson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape (Wicklow) im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.813,05).
