The work Flooded Road by John Jobson was sold in the Irish Sale Part II auction at Christies in London in May 2006. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,627.41), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Jobson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape (Wicklow), which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,813.05).

Die Arbeit Flooded Road von John Jobson wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Irish Sale Part II bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.627,41) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von John Jobson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape (Wicklow) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.813,05) versteigert wurde.
