Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Prospect Mt. Diner by John Baeder was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,400.76). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Baeder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diner, Binghampton, N.Y., which sold at auction in November 2005 for USD 54,000.00 (€ 45,801.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Prospect Mt. Diner von John Baeder kam im März 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.400,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von John Baeder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diner, Binghampton, N.Y. beobachtet, die im November 2005 für USD 54.000,00 (€ 45.801,53) versteigert wurde.
