Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John Baeder could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,684.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Baeder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diner, Binghampton, N.Y. in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 54,000.00 (€ 45,801.53).

Dieses Kunstwerk von John Baeder konnte im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.684,64) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
