Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Tommy'S Tacos by John Baeder for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,800.25). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by John Baeder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diner, Binghampton, N.Y. in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 54,000.00 (€ 45,801.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tommy'S Tacos von John Baeder für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.800,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Baeder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diner, Binghampton, N.Y. im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 54.000,00 (€ 45.801,53).
