Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Garden Of Earthly Delights by Jin Meyerson was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,370.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Meyerson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Raft in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 191,035.13).

Die Arbeit Garden Of Earthly Delights von Jin Meyerson wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.370,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Meyerson erzielen.
