Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jin Meyerson could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,255.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Meyerson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Raft in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 191,035.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jin Meyerson konnte im Dezember 2013 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Under the Influence wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.255,33) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Meyerson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Raft im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 242.500,00 (€ 191.035,13).
