Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jin Meyerson could be acquired at Christies in London in July last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 6,500.00 (€ 7,762.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Meyerson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Raft in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 191,035.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jin Meyerson konnte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 6.500,00 (€ 7.762,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Meyerson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Raft im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 242.500,00 (€ 191.035,13).
