The work Me and Soutine (in CWB) by Jin Meyerson was sold in the NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 69,300.00 (€ 70,768.86), 73% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jin Meyerson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Raft, which sold at auction in November 2008 for USD 242,500.00 (€ 191,035.13).

Die Arbeit Me and Soutine (in CWB) von Jin Meyerson wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 70.768,86) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jin Meyerson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Raft beobachtet, die im November 2008 für USD 242.500,00 (€ 191.035,13) versteigert wurde.
