Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jin Meyerson was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in London in April 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,687.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Meyerson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Raft in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 191,035.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jin Meyerson wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.687,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Meyerson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Raft im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 242.500,00 (€ 191.035,13).
