Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jin Meyerson could be acquired at Phillips in New York in March 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Raft changed hands for USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,712.13) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Meyerson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Raft in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 191,035.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jin Meyerson konnte im März 2014 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Under the Influence wechselte die Arbeit Raft für USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.712,13) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Meyerson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Raft im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 242.500,00 (€ 191.035,13).
