Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled/IPCNY by Jessica Stockholder was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October last year. The price achieved of USD 504.00 (€ 507.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jessica Stockholder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,306.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled/IPCNY von Jessica Stockholder kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 504,00 (€ 507,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jessica Stockholder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.306,77).
