Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2014 Christies in New York held the auction First Open/NYC, which included this untitled work by Jessica Stockholder. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,929.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jessica Stockholder have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2011 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,306.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open/NYC durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jessica Stockholder zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.929,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Jessica Stockholder konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2011 die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.306,77) versteigert.
