Auction result well in line with expectations

In September this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Warm Slurpee; Willy Washer by Jason Rhoades. The price achieved of USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,523.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jason Rhoades achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three-Wheel Waggon-Wheel Chandelier in November this year with an auction result of USD 1,008,000.00 (€ 924,092.41).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Warm Slurpee; Willy Washer von Jason Rhoades zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 9.523,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jason Rhoades erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three-Wheel Waggon-Wheel Chandelier im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.008.000,00 (€ 924.092,41).
