Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Group of two works, 1997-98 by Jason Rhoades was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online auction at Bonhams in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,320.00 (€ 7,860.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jason Rhoades achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three-Wheel Waggon-Wheel Chandelier in November this year with an auction result of USD 1,008,000.00 (€ 924,092.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Group of two works, 1997-98 von Jason Rhoades wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.320,00 (€ 7.860,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jason Rhoades erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three-Wheel Waggon-Wheel Chandelier im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.008.000,00 (€ 924.092,41).
